Prepare A Nutritious Snack Using The Best Hot Air Popcorn Making Machine;

Many people will instantly turn up their nose if you say to them they have to make use of a hot air popcorn popper to pop their popcorn. They've read many stories regarding how that type of popcorn is flavorless and they want no part of it, not really willing to try it out. But the thing is, these stories all come from individuals who are accustomed to eating either that horrible microwave popcorn that's full of salt and a whole bunch of chemicals which are supposed to resemble butter, or movie popcorn which actually is drenched in salt and butter. So they actually have no idea of what the POPCORN tastes like, just the toppings. And thus they're presuming that since popcorn popped in a hot air popcorn popper is more healthy for you, it must also taste terrible compared to the "good" stuff they're accustomed to.

Of course, it's correct that if you pop your popcorn in a hot air popcorn popper, rather than using oil, it is much healthier for you, however that is only part of the tale. You only use handful of oil whenever you pop popcorn and it's not enough to kill you anytime in the near future. And even if there are some oils which are superior to others, it's still oil and it does have a certain reputation for naughtiness.. And that bad reputation is WHY a lot of people prefer their popcorn popped in oil - it adds to the excitement! If you are likely to have a healthy snack such as popcorn, the least that you can do is spice it up slightly and pop the stuff in oil!

If you were to compare simple popcorn - with no butter or salt or any other type of seasoning - simply popcorn to popcorn, you would feel a difference in taste between popcorn popped in oil and popcorn made in a hot air popcorn popper. The popcorn popped in the hot air popper tastes like natural, fresh corn. It's light and airy and you taste corn when you eat it. When you pop popcorn in oil it turns out a little smaller, somewhat denser and slightly chewier since it's taken in some of the moisture from the oil. It'll even absorb the flavour from the oil which will make it taste very different compared to the air popped popcorn.

But this is my point. No matter how you pop it, popcorn is popcorn. The moment it comes out of the popper it's anyone's game! Add your butter and salt or your cinnamon and sugar. Go ahead and add your peanut butter or your chocolate. And then you don't even taste the popcorn anyway!

Therefore if you are going to drench you popcorn in calories and cholesterol before you decide to eat it anyway - and who doesn't! - then why not begin with a more healthy base and pop your popcorn in a hot air popcorn popper? You'll cut back a few calories anyway, and some grams of cholesterol, and you will be beginning with a popcorn that just plain tastes better prior to you even add all that other stuff on it. If you are going to have chocolate coated caramel popcorn you owe it to yourself to lose all the calories and cholesterol you can. Simply leave the bottle of oil on the counter. Nobody has to know but you!
